rugen Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Do you suffer from anxiety by counting the days before June when the band is going to play again after more than 10 years? Is it the 10 years, the new drummer, or that I have too much time on my hands?
TheAnarchist2112 Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I feel really nervous and anticipatory too. I'm SO, SO, excited..... I still can't believe this is happening. 1
Blue J Posted February 19 Posted February 19 It's almost March ffs- summertime in the Northern Hemisphere will be here before you know it.

Well, I'm so tired of losin', I got nothin' to do With all day to do it Well, I'd go out cruisin', but I've no place to go And all night to get there Is it any wonder? I've got too much time on my hands It's tickin' away with my sanity I've got too much time on my hands It's hard to believe such a calamity I've got too much time on my hands And it's tickin' away, tickin' away from me
thizzellewashington Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I'm going on a Rush-related media blackout when the tour gets closer. Unfollowing all Rush-related social media accounts, staying off this site, not reading any reviews, nothing. I'm going to all four Chicago shows and want to know nothing about the setlist, stage design, how they sound, etc. beforehand. 4

I'm going to have to be on a rush blackout the entire summer essentiallyÂ
Blue J Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I understand not wanting to know any of those things beforehand. But I've found it's virtually impossible- and not just virtually, but really impossible- to completely shut myself out like that. Â I'm not on any social media anything, anywhere, Rush related or otherwise. Really just here. Â But I remember the same sort of thing about R40, not wanting to know anything ahead of time, etc- and that was pointless.Â
James Bond Posted February 20 Posted February 20 I won't be going as far as to unfollow the socials or anything like that, but I intend to stay as spoiler free as possible. I'm usually pretty good at resisting looking at set lists before concerts. I'm sure I might pause on the odd clip on Instagram should I come across one, but I won't be actively looking.
dtpoet Posted February 21 Posted February 21 I can’t contain myself.  I will be clued here opening night watching the set list scroll song after song.  Then I will go on You Tube and construct a playlist in that order.  Yes, I have issue, but when you have been resolved for a decade that something is never going to happen and then it does, I’m all in.  It’s our second, actually third chance.  Rare.
Brava Doh! Posted February 22 Posted February 22 The setlist drop will really go for the first four shows, which is fun in and of itself. Like some of you I’ll be following the setlist song by song and when a new song is noted I’ll load it up and listen to it. I did this on the CA opener and it was great! the R40 tour I was going to show 3 so I didn’t spoiler myself and I’m glad I didn’t. This time I’m too far out from the opener to not find out so why not embrace it? 1

June we go on a Rush social media blackout including here….after my two shows in Dallas Fort Worth we will be back. Then another long wait till November for 2 shows in Hollywood Florida!!
sb2112 Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I have a long blackout until the Cleveland shows, but that’s exactly what I’ll do. This was always fun to do on previous tours. Rush has always done a good job of surprising with real off the wall deep cuts. Like how surprised I was when I saw them do How It Is at R40. 2

Laurabw Posted February 24 Posted February 24 It does seem like it's a really long time away from now 1
