Agreed.  Eventually the VIP tickets will turn into regular overpriced tickets and then discounted tickets the week/day of the sale.

Those discounted tickets will still turn a profit for the event organizer.

Season tickets for the Ravens (nosebleeds) cost less than what Ticketmaster is asking for a pair for some of these shows.

You get to see Rush and add extra day to your life - winning!

Scored super cheap flights from Perth, cant wait now!!

Unfortunately, you give the extra day back on the return journey - which is a 15 hour overnight flight, but you arrive two mornings later.

Enjoy!

I sent them a note asking for clarification why their site and Ticketmaster state the package is for a ticket in the front row when the package is being sold for other rows.

If they sold all 76 of the seats ‘in the first three rows’ for the Limelight package, that is around 174k right there.  $$$$$

Well I haven’t recieved a response yet, but I did notice they added an asterisk on their site for the Limelight package.  Ultra shady.

  • One premium reserved ticket in the front row*

*Where available

That is so incredibly dishonest for them to change that after the fact. And what does "where available" even really mean in this context? Clearly these shows all have a front row lol.

Glad I sent them an email with screenshots of their site wording before they updated it.

I'm also still waiting for a response back from Super. I'll follow up again in a few days if I don't hear back.

Agreed.  Absolutely dishonest.  It screams of someone there trying to pull a fast one and now they are getting called out.  I’d imagine it is more than just the two of us that contacted them.

I also took screenshots of their site and Ticketmaster’s site with timestamps.

They've responded.

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this.

To clarify, the Washington, DC venue wasn’t able to accommodate the full VIP allocation within the first row, so the seating was expanded to include rows 1–3. The “first row” language in the package has since been updated to reflect this.

Thanks for the update. I'm guessing that is most likely the answer for Detroit as well, since front row on Geddy's side seems entirely reserved for ADA seating.

Not sure why some front row seats weren't assigned the VIP package, but was probably due to some contractual agreement that required at least some regular tickets in each row.

I just wish Super would have been more clear on this from the beginning and incorporated price adjustments. Front row vs 3rd row is a big difference IMO and does not justify the same price.

Tbh, I regret paying for the meet and greet. I passed up the *absolute best* front row center seats at platinum price to buy a Limelight that ended up 2nd row off to the side.

I followed up with them.  I'm not expecting anything out of this, but they absolutely done goofed.  All of the other VIP packages are the same price no matter what row, and they had to adjust the verbiage of the Closer to the Heart package as well since that was originally supposed to be rows 2-12, so they've done goofed twice.

My follow up -

"Thank you for the response.  Could you provide some insight as to why this exception wasn't posted prior to this package being sold for the Washington DC venue?"

I'm beating a dead horse at this point.  Ah well.  Buyer beware everybody.  Just like the Closer To The Heart package, they shifted the goalposts and didn't update the description of what was being sold at the time of sale.

Their response -

Thanks again for your message. There isn’t a specific reason why the note wasn’t included initially - it was simply an oversight when the information was first posted. Once it was flagged, the listing was updated to make sure it accurately reflected the seating details.

Appreciate you taking the time to point this out, and hope you have a great day.

The physics of not having a front row just made my brain explode. lol

Well it is all okay now since after they sold something they described as front row they put a little asterisk and note on the description that says “Where available.”

They’ve had to of pulled this nonsense in more than two cities/venues.

I’m seeing more tickets released for shows.  The majority of the floor is available for the Oct 27 DC show.  A bunch of seats that were not available previously including floor seats in the middle of the floor for around 321.

On a whim I checked out tickets for the second Philly show.  I scored a single seat in section 2, row 7 for $322.  The seat next to the one I grabbed was 900 bucks.  It looks like prices are being reduced slowly.

Happy New Year! Imagine that - it's now officially the same calendar year as a Rush tour for the first time in eleven years.

Insight on how they'll honor Neil during the concerts:

There are three songs that come to mind: Afterimage, Time Stand Still and Nobody's Hero! Regardless, if he was Everyone's Hero! But you can't Beat:

"Suddenly you were gone, Among the lives you left your mark upon!" from Afterimage! Those words are perfect!
