This is the final tie of the 3RD round, after this we're moving into the later stages of the tournament with the Quarter-Finals next. In this one we've got Deep Purple and Rainbow virtuoso Ritchie Blackmore meeting up with David Bowie's Spiders from Mars cohort Mick Ronson. Who is the better guitar player in this case?

Never a big DP fan, although I did have Machine Head and Burn on LP and 8-track. 

 

I did see Mick in the Spiders, so I'm casting my vote for Mick.  Also, Mick was in Dylan's band during the Rolling Thunder Review tour in 1975.
