Aww, thank you for posting this!  I was sad to see this!  RIP, Wayne.  73 is not that old; a stroke is a horrible way to go.  He had a nice voice.

I met him once,  I will have to find the photo!  My best friend in Jr. High was Mormon and loved the Osmonds like crazy. It wasnt that much of my thing but I was a good friend and always went with her.  We went to a concert in the 70s and went the next morning to see them leave the hotel and get on their tour bus.  They seemed like very nice guys.

Their dad was a riot, though!  He waved us over- "Would you like a photo, girls?"  Sure!  Which brother would he call to pose with us?  Donny, Jay the drummer?  Nope!  No brother. He handed his wife our cameras and put his arms around us- "Smile, girls!"  I have a photo somewhere with me, my friend and George Osmond, the dad!

Crazy Horses has a decent hard rock sound though!  Joe Elliott of Def Leppard has named it as one of the albums that inspired him.

When I was a kid my mom bought the 8 track with that song on it and another kind of rock song entitled, Down By The Lazy River. The choreography is hilarious.

He had a stroke in 2012 which left him unable to play guitar, and before that he had a brain tumour which was treatable but left him almost completely deaf.

Little Jimmy Osmond has had a couple of strokes in the past, the last one in 2018 was pretty bad and he hasn't been seen in public since 2019.

Shoot, seriously? I didn't know any of that.  My gift subscription to Osmond Spotlight magazine expired long ago. That's difficult to deal with. Strokes are very scary.

Yeah, maybe it runs in the family a little bit. The others are all ok though, except Alan who has MS. The two oldest brothers (who aren't famous) were both born deaf, so maybe that runs in the family as well.
