I’ll lay them out alphabetically first, to be fair:

Gojira

Mastodon

Opeth

Porcupine Tree

How would you rank them?

I'm replying this one because it's my list too, right down to the gap . . . In fact, I might have a gap between Mastodon and Opeth, too.

Yeah same. Mastodon are the only band here to threaten my top ten bands haha, potentially 5

1.  Porcupine Tree

2. Mastodon

3. Opeth

4. Gojira

Gojira is last because i literally don't know them well.

Porcupine Tree is first because of the classic Prog element.

I almost put Opeth ahead of Mastodon but Mastodon have Crack the Skye and Hushed and Grim.  Those 2 albums alone earn them my number 2 spot.

1) Porcupine Tree

2) Opeth

3) Mastodon

4) Gojira (because I've never heard anything by them. I could like them more than Mastodon, but probably not more than Opeth or PT.)

Gojira - I've never listened to anything so not fair to include them.

You could really like them! A one album wonder for me. And a ridiculously talented one at that.

Me three. But none of them are regular listens for me except for Fear of a Blank Planet.
