what unreleased audio/video would you want to see released as part of the upcoming 50th Anniversary Box Set?

actually it would be awesome if they put a complete soundboard audio show from every tour up until 97 in there, I know it's impossible (Caress Of Steel & Signals) but it would be amazing if they did!

If I had to pick just one it would be a legit HD Blu-ray  of ESL with remixed multi-channel audio -- the same elite-level treatment Pink Floyd gave their DSOT video. Any other releases would be gravy.

Ask snowdog2112...  he has several inside sources that know that a 50th set is coming sometime next month or december (I assume)

HD remasters of ESL and ASOH, ideally with the original audio mixes instead of the godawful ones that were done for the Replay set.  If the full concerts still exist, so much the better.

Whoa whoa, I want to make it clear, as I have every single time, that I have no personal or direct inside knowledge. Way before I said anything at all the other guy Digital82 made definitive statements that a GUP 40th box and some type of 50th anniversary release are both coming, with the former likely delayed for the latter. There was also the quote from one of the editors of Prog in the July issue saying effectively that they were hearing the same thing in a response to a fan. 
 

Because I am naturally pessimistic in general and didn’t want to get my hopes up too much I made some inquiries on my own with two people that I’m confident have at least some legitimate connections and they both told me the same thing. But I have stated previously several times that I am not making these claims myself or promising anything whatsoever. All I said was that I personally feel confident enough in what I heard to expect it now and am no longer pessimistic.
 

But there’s no guarantee of anything, and I suppose it’s possible that they’re correct and we still might not get anything if those in charge have since changed their mind on either or both. What I have confidence in myself is that both of those projects have been actively worked on this year. Otherwise I’m as in the dark as you guys. In fact, on one of the other threads I speculated early on that if we do get a 50th package it would likely just be an elaborate repackaging of what we already have and Digital82 corrected me by saying that I was wrong expecting it to not have any significant unreleased material. So ask him, not me.

No problem, I just don't want people coming after me if it doesn't happen. I didn't make the original claims, have no interest in trying to brag about knowing things (which I don't, anyway), and I'm checking online daily for announcements just the same as everyone else here. All I did, for my own peace of mind, was to ask outside the forum for a "second opinion" if there is validity to these rumors from people I think would know and I was told yes, there is. I didn't ask any further because I respect them and would never even want to give the impression that I would betray their confidence and if they had told me details, which they didn't, I wouldn't share them here anyway.

 

But as with all things unofficial there's always a chance we're all just chasing each other's tails with nonsense. I've seen so many cases where some rumor will start about something, people will debate it on a forum, then you'll see on some special interest sites that they're saying the same thing, then major news sites will start reporting it, and then the people on the forum will say "See, it is real, it's on all these news sites", only to find out that the "news" filtered its way up through from the forum in the first place. A whole bunch of news people "reporting" that other people are "reporting it." I got my validation from behind the scenes that I think is outside that circle, but still, we'll see.

We have essentially the same list. Only thing I would add is the unreleased Counterparts Pro-shot footage that was shown in BTLS.  I believe CBC owns the rights to it.
