SESAC agreement with YouTube expires causing songs by many artists to be blocked on the platform

Today, YouTube's agreement with the copyright company SESAC has expired and they are currently trying to reach an agreement. Due to the expiration, many songs by many artists have been blocked on YouTube and YouTube Music in the US as of right now.

The music is probably gonna come back to YouTube. Things like this have happened before. Such as what happened earlier this year with Universal and TikTok, that eventually got resolved, and it's also like when channels on certain cable providers would be taken off for a time due to negotiations and later on, usually the channels would come back. However, when this will happen is still unknown, but it'll probably come back regardless.

YouTube and SESAC have reached an agreement and content that was blocked in the US will be restored in a day or two
