Got to see the Utah Hockey Club against the Avs Saturday.  A lot of people showed up in Avs gear, not surprised it is the closest NHL team until now so lots of fans have supported them. A few Knights jerseys and random Boston and old Coyote ones.  Wasn't a sellout, more empty seats than I expected.  MacKinnon did not make the trip but got to see Toews and Makar along with Rantenen.  Their play was a little spotty, liked the play of Ivan and Calum Richie.  Ingram was sharp in goal so the UHC won 2-1.

I must say I saw some crazy things at this game that I never have seen before.  Saw a woman on the jumbotron take her artificial leg off and pour beer in it and chugged it down, not once but twice !:laugh2:  Then there are two little people who for some reason are at the games to throw out t-shirts.  I saw them at the first pre-season game so it wasn't a surprise when they showed up Saturday.  What happened later was bizarre.  They had a beer chugging session then one of them pulled his t-shirt off to reveal big swatches of tape on his nipples.  The other one proceeded to rip the tape off his chest :scared:  Talk about nuts, I didn't know we had such freaky fans here :blink:  I guess a bet was involved???

Tuesday UHC starts against the Blackhawks, will have to see if I can watch the game, I am betting ESPN+ will have it blacked out.

The weirdest part about this was learning that United Health Care have a pro hockey team, and then wondering if that makes me a part owner, but then the edibles wore off, I remembered that Utah Hockey Club is a thing, so I had to go put more tape on my nipples . . .

Just think what will happen when Milwaukee gets a team.

The NHL off to a slow start in Utah, with their new team needing nearly five minutes to score against the Blackhawks.

Good start for Utah Hockey Club, young guns were on point and Ingram did well in net.  Now will see how they do on the road in NY, Isles and Rangers up next.

Utah Hockey Club is killing it, I thought they had a chance to hang in there with the Isles but not the Rangers.  These kids are so much fun to watch, but have to say my mind is blown:explode:

Then the Avs are a mess, our goalie is struggling and the defense is making really dumb mistakes.    Next, Drouin gets hurt against Vegas and that makes things worse....Wake up guys:hockey2:
