Rhyta Posted April 8 Author Posted April 8 Saturday the Utah Hockey Club beat the Jets 4-1, they are the only team besides Nashville and LA to beat them twice this season. I know they aren't going to make the playoffs but it is exciting to see them fight so hard. Vejmelka has played 20 straight games in goal for the team and is doing a fantastic job. Fans are throwing broccoli on the ice after wins (his nickname is Veggie). Fun times. Avs are making things harder on themselves, they let the Blues get a 4 goal lead and weren't able to scrounge out a win this time, lose 5-4. Will see how both teams do Tuesday. 3

Rhyta Posted April 10 Author Posted April 10 (edited) Wow, I wasn't expecting such a lopsided victory for Utah over the Kraken. 7-1. Didn't help Seattle got in town late from the game the previous day. Too bad UHC won't get to be in the playoffs but it's only going to be a matter of time if they continue to play like this Avs did their usual lackluster play in the first period but managed to tie with Vegas 2-2 and go to overtime. Coyle got another goal in the shootout so they get another win. He's been a great addition to the team. Now if we can get our power play back together, need Necas and Drouin. Derek19 Posted April 10 Posted April 10 (edited) The 2024-25 N.H.L. Playoffs are close, and near upon us. Some teams have four games, and three games remaining of, and in their regular season. Toronto, has a two game road trip, but another back-to-back including the second game as the first road game in the back-to-back, and two home games. On Sat. night, in Toronto, they play against Montreal Canadians, which Toronto, won 1-0 in overtime, Sun. afternoon, in Carolina, against Carolina Hurricanes, which Toronto, won 4-1, Tues. Apr. 15, in Buffalo, against Buffalo Sabres, which Toronto, won 4-0. Mitch Marner, scored a goal to reach 100 points, for the first time, in his career, and Auston Matthews, scored a goal to reach 400 goals in 628 games, and next Thurs. Apr. 17, in Toronto, against Detroit Red Wings, which Toronto, won 4-3 in overtime. At home, they are 27-13-1. On the road, they are 25-13-3. Overall, they are 52-26-4, and finished fourth in the N.H.L. Edited yesterday at 03:55 AM by Derek19 1
