Talking about this here serves no practical purpose.  This is a fan forum. Frankly, no one here is going to buy it.

Assuming for a moment that these claims are true, your time is better spent productively - perhaps a consultation with an entertainment lawyer.

Full disclosure: I have a relative who swears that he wrote lyrics for The Pretenders in the late 70's.  He's been saying for 30 years that he's 'this close' to suing for his royalties.     Sure thing dude, let us know when your ship comes in.

So yh, a few here are questioning if i was the inspiration behind T4E and VT.

While i have no need to prove myself since you'll not be pumping funds into my bank account, i still have fun  throwing a few teasers out there just for my own amusements.

Yh, ya know how Neil wrote, "Did i have a dream or did the dream have me?" -

that was a transmutation when I wrote him January 14, 2001 and said, Hey Neil, if everything is happening for a reason, do we meditate or are we being meditated?"

Yh, haunting song from Zero Ohms -

Now wait, your story’s not consistent. You said in the other thread you only ever communicated with Rush’s manager, not with any of the band members directly. Why would you address Neil directly if you were talking to his manager?

Yea, i'm verging on "casting pearls before swine".

My ship came in years ago.

Fun to watch Rush Idiots who know nothing, speak as they know something.

It's called Cognitive Dissonance.

That's not what cognitive dissonance is at all, really.

Thirteen posts and you jump right into the name calling. Classy. Also, I'm not sure you used "cognitive dissonance" correctly.

You're in cognitive dissonance about what Cognitive Dissonance is.

Oh, are you offended by the word "Idiot"?

Well now, it give you something to cry and bitch about rather than dealing with subject matter, then you feel "off the hook".

How fun - Another uptight Rush fan.

I'm as laid back as gin and juice and basically nothing offends me. Wrong again.

Not feeling it.

It's all on a spectrum anyway, not a zero-point diagnosis.

Wasn't there some guy on Counterparts who showed up and claimed to have written the lyrics to Mission that Neil stole from him?  This is feeling very familiar...

I remember that.

This same pattern has repeated hundreds if not thousands of times.  It's one of the occupational hazards of being in the public eye.

You know what they say, you can't tell yourself how to feel but "feelings" often lead to bad decisions or suppositions.

When you get to 50 posts, you should request permission to view and post in the Sense O'Clock News area. You'll fit right in and I'm sure you'd love it.

Damn, he must owe you royalties for the $50 Rush made off that song. Given that's 20% of the lyrics and the band splits things 3-ways, I hope you get your $3.33.

Nah, i don't serve Mammon as this planet of animated corpses does.
