Back to back shots give Brewers the 2-0 lead, bottom of 7.   Bauers' shot was remarkable with an exit velocity of 80 mph, and a -17 degree launch angle, as reported on the broadcast using Statcast.  It traveled 6 ft.

Devin Williams, you can take your Reliever of The Year awards and shove 'em up your ass.

You're supposed to close out big games, you CHOKER.    :rage:

And they'll promise you more
Than the Garden of Eden
Then they'll carelessly cut you
And laugh while you're bleeding
But they'll bring out the best
And the worst you can be
Blame it all on their overpaid closer who can't get three f*cking outs
'Cause they're always the Brewers to me

Cicadas come every 17 years.  Which is the exact difference in time between the 2007 Rockies and 2024 Tigers.

Harper is such a cancer. It’s too bad because I love Kyle Schwarber.

Network execs are drooling for a Yanks/Dodgers Series. Watch it be KC and San Diego.

Judge needs to step up or they won’t get there.

The payroll rankings of the teams remaining are

1-Mets

2-Yankees

3-Dodgers

14-Padres

21-Royals

24-Tigers

28-Cleveland Sports Team

 (Philly was 4th).
In the last 30 years, only the 2003 Marlins won with a payroll ranked in the bottom half of the league*. If you extend it it 40 years, you can add the ‘90 Reds and ‘91 Twins. KC, Detroit and Cleveland have their work cut out for them.

* The 2017 Astros do not count, for obvious reasons.

Hinch made the error of putting Jobe in the game last night. Doesn't matter if he's one of the top pitching prospects, you don't use a rookie with a couple weeks of MLB experience in a critical game like that. Jobe got lit up in Houston as well. Bring in Vest and use Foley in the ninth. Foley WAS the closer but has been MIA in the playoffs.

Since my team is out I've watched who is left and decided that the Mets are by far the coolest team out there.

Will never root for a New York baseball team.  If it's a Yankee-Met series I won't watch a pitch for the first time this Millennium (since the last one ended in 2000, not 1999)

Shouldn't be a worry, a Subway Series means TV ratings for the WS will be in the toilet. MLB doesn't want that.

Aw hell, who am I fooling?  Shouldn't be a worry because L.A. will jack everybody.

These big paddle-like gloves that some baserunners wear now.... so ghey. Charlie Hustle would never have worn one.

Let's hope that the Yankees celebrate the 20th anniversary of their humiliating collapse by doing what they did last night 3 more times.

Would love to see the Mets win without the Billy Eppler involved considering how awful he was for my team as a GM before.  Perry's no good either, unfortunately.

4 year extension?  Really, Arte?  After such "great" signings like washed up Aaron Hicks?

I can't watch the Dodgers and Mets game, so I'm sitting here refreshing the score. :drink:
