They had some rough years before then though. Their 3rd album "Tickle of Brass" didn't sell very well, and as a result they toured the US and Canada in a VW Beetle. The "Up Yours Tour", they called it. Success came later with their art rock album, 1331 (A story of medieval conquest) and the follow up live record "This is all Staged".
