I'd forgotten what the Blondie song sounded like, hadn't heard it in decades. So I listened.

 

 

 

Not a bad little tune. Still doesn't beat The Cars, though.

Two great pop songs but it's The Cars for me. I have always had a soft spot for them.

Both songs are about equal to me

🤔 so I thought I’d vote for the underdog to keep the ongoing poll more interesting.

 

Now if it was ‘ Just What I Needed ‘ I’d have definitely voted for The Cars.

Went with The Cars given the song match ups.  Blondie has some other songs that, if included in the poll, would have gotten my vote.  Overall I slightly prefer The Cars as a band but not crazy about either group.
