Bloc Party - The Silent Alarm

again, I am actually not joking about slowly deciphering his accent, lol. That’s like a solid quarter of the reason I keep coming back.

If it means anything...even us Brits struggle at times with regional accents.

What region do you come from? I can see you styling yourself as a faux geordie or a bohemian Yorkshireman. I bet you spend three months in Whitby every year dressed as Count Dracula affecting your very best James Mason impression!

Young woman: Who do you think you're dressed as?

Segue Dracula:  I have never met someone so badly behaved!

Young Woman: You're off your head you are!

Segue Dracula: I've changed my mind! You're certainly a very splendid trollop. And with unique glamour, entirely due to the fact that you're hampered by banal dialogue. I love your overbearing, posturing technique with an equally polished vocal squall. You have a perfectly fair chance of becoming my romantic bete noire. It's your magnetism and dignity that assures you a peak of magnificent isolation!

Young Woman: What the f**k are you talking about pal??

Segue Dracula: Quite...now good evening...

While a few of you guys were playing the new Tremonti album today, I forgot about that and played the new Ringo album instead.

Ringo Starr - Crooked Boy

Ringo Starr - Look Up

It's actually really pleasant. I've gotten into classic country the last couple years and it's right up my alley

Lacuna Coil- all 6 singles for the upcoming album Sleepless Empire

I am happy to say I love these songs. Generic? A bit, but lyrically I really like the optimistic, empowering feel that they are going for, and their is a marching rhythm to their music that feels like a conscious effort to uplift listeners, though they are heavy.

New single Gravity feels like a combination of Black Anima and their original Comalies album, and I just love it.

Lacuna Coil- Black Anima

Time has been ever so kind to this album. It came out over five years ago and it still feels fresh to my ears.
