Mick I might let Leviathan top CTS depending on the day for my 2nd place spot. 4th of the four I’ve heard is Blood Mountain, though I do like it and think it’s got a ton of awesome stuff happening. Also planning on adding to my knowledge today by spinning Once More around The Sun. 1
Entre_Perpetuo Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 Gojira - The Way Of All Flesh First listen. Suuuuuper heavy, really enjoyed the darker atmosphere of it too.

Pearcy cannot sing at all live, sounds like a frog with covid 19 and whoever mixes their sound loves drowning out the sound with oversaturated bass distortion. 2
Entre_Perpetuo Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 Opeth - The Last Will AndTestament 2

I saw them twice over two nights at Manchester Apollo and what made it worse is Ozzy was the headliner and came on after Ratt and sounded as crystal clear as Pavarotti in comparison to Pearcy. I did buy a Purple Ratt Invasion of Your Privacy t-shirt anyway. 1

Odd they sucked live because their songs sound perfect for singalong concerts! Edited December 20, 2024 by Segue Myles 2

And this is odd because they built their reputation playing in LA clubs. Maybe they sound better in small clubs? 1
