Geordie Grepp - The New Sound

This first listen is a mind bender. It's like if you crammed Peter Gabriel, David Bowie, King Crimson, and Frank Zappa into an album. I may need some time to process it.

Bruce Springsteen- The River

Possibly my number one double album. This album is just the full spectrum of Springsteens talents and the way it captures the feeling of a concert, which was by design, is something I'm always impressed by.

Blood Incantation- Absolute Elsewhere

I don't know how to explain this, but this album is f***ing insane. Is Hemispheres, Blood Mountain, Pink Floyd and Yes had a baby...

Nightwish- Yesterwynde

It just keeps on getting better and better for me. I think it a great shame that they aren't touring right now, as these new songs I am sure would soar live.

Mastodon-Crack The Skye. (10/10)

This is my fav Mastodon album.  Always liked it better than Blood Mountain (which not afraid to admit....i think is very good but never totally gelled with) Always found CTS far and away better.

Mastodon-Emperor of Sand(6/10)

i dunno people say this one's great i don't hear it.  The melodies aren't strong.  the hooks not nearly as memorable.  It has moments but it's largly forgettable and it must be true cause i never remember how most songs go. and i find myself thinking.  Gee this song is still going?  Even the shorter ones.  they're endless.

I think Hushed And Grimm is better than both of them!
