Sabrina Carpenter Short n Sweet  (8/10)

I really like her but as i said this wasn't AOTY material for me.  I think her previous record blows this one away.

But i do really like her.

Mick

I have a bit of trouble with her. Every once in a while on there and in the public eye she says or does something that gives me pause, but I can never quite put my finger on why.

i think her schtick of talking about how much she loves dick every song.......is like........stoooooop.  i like vagina's but i don't go reading and writng poems about it.

it puts me off a bit cause it literally is every damn song.  and it makes her come off like she's never even seen a penis honestly, lol

I mean lol that’s one thing. I think stuff more like I saw some clip of her at a live show calling out a crowd member for being there with a girl who wasn’t his girlfriend while his girlfriend was also there (and I guess telling her about it while she’s onstage?)… just like… do your show, lol

This album is very safe and I agree, the last album is better. But she delivered the right album to take her to the next level, and I'm glad because she's been the most fun I've had with pop in a long while. Her videos are a reminder of how music videos used to be: actually worth watching and full of humour.

Pearl Jam-Dark Matter (6/10)'

Damn revisiting this it was so close to being a banger PJ album.

i admit the music is great.......DON'T YELL AT ME i'm saying it's good.

BUT........i can't believe fans of this album don't hear how atrocious the mix is.  it's mush!!!!!!! the drums sound like 8 bit video game like.

I can't believe jobs like this still get approved.

Yeah that’s pretty much where I’m at with it, although I don’t know that any of the songs are quite A tier either. A lot of strong B+ material.

i liked Gigaton way more than this one.

But that's this band for me all my life.  An album i love followed by a clunker.

it's amazing that that's the pattern with me.  without fail.  love it.....clunker......love it......clunker, lol

so i expect to love the next album PJ:laugh:
