It was a scorcher here yesterday (a rare occurance in N. Ireland!) so I got the sun lounger out, several cold beers and a couple of classic live albums from the '70s -

There are a number of bands who changed singers around the same time of whom I am a fan of both eras:  these guys, Ozzy/Dio Sabbath, Di'Anno/Dickinson Maiden, and, although the delta is greater, Van Halen/Hagar.  Really no drop off with these guys IMO.
