May Spector rot in hell but EotC is an underrated album.

My favorite Green Day album is getting a 25 anniversary issue.  One of the demos is a remake of Alison by Elvis Costello.  Nimrod is still tops for me.  Hoping that Cure album will finally get the release Robert Smith has been teasing and was supposed to come out last fall.  Heard some of the songs in concert on Youtube and they're quite promising.

I hope Gaslight Anthem has one since they went back to the studio.  It's cruel how underrated this Joisey band are.  Been 9 years since Get Hurt and Brian Fallon has done 2 solo albums since.

I am THE CAT

I live for the mat

it's my habitat

I wear a black hat

but I won't do that

Meat Loaf I got your back

but I'm getting fat

so none of that

either, now give me a pat

and don't be a brat

and no backchat

you little t**t

look I'm a diplomat

I know where it's at

coup d'etat

oh double drat

Dick Dastardly says that

I ate a rat

right where it sat

I tossed it like an acrobat

it just went splat

rat-a-tat-tat

I squashed it flat

I have a photostat

I'm a Hellcat?

I'm a pussycat

and I'm an aristocrat

magnificat

copycat? scaredy cat?

on Halloween I ate a bat

it's fur was matte

just like my hat

tit for tat

get off my mat

it's just for cats

and technocrats

turn up the thermostat

it's cold in this flat

roll out the welcome mat

just keep off my mat

weren't you at the laundromat?

Just found out that the former lead singer of Gloryhammer has an album coming out in April and on guitar he has a former guitarist with Frozen Crown.  Sounds great!!  Right now this is the album I am most looking forward to.

Public Service Warning - If you watch the attached video released in support of the album you may want to take something to reduce your cholesterol levels in advance.  The video is cheesier than the entire cheese case at my local supermarket.  But I like the song!!

The killers have a new one due this year too. no date set yet though. i hope it happens

The last  2 have been great.

Mick

That last two have been aces. I thought I preferred Imploding The Mirage, but I think I’be come to realize that Pressure Machine might be my favorite thing they’ve done since Hot Space.

Add new Fall Out Boy to this list. Cinematic with big heavy guitars and drums and an overall darker tone, at least if the lead single is to be trusted.

How I feel about The Cure.  It was supposed to come out last fall.  Talk is cheap.

Good luck on his fight against Ticketmaster, though.  Finish what Pearl Jam started.

Already out... Haken and Riverside, both good but the Haken release is among their best.

TBA Steven Wilson (might not be until early 2024) and Big Wreck (April 2023 I think?).  I'm passing on the new Metallica.  I'm now of the old metallica good, new metallica bad school.
