A planet creaking at the seams.

Pshaw....give everyone 10 sq. ft. to stand, and everyone would easily fit in Connecticut.

(I see the winky face, I really do! But . . .)

Unfortunately, we can't eat or drink 10 square feet of space . . .

Still, we've slowed down on the projection in the Bad Religion song "10 [billion] in 2010" . . .

It's the need for proximity to food and human contact.

IMO 8 billion is too many, so I am a childfree person.

And all these years I thought food was produced on farm's.

My wife and I decided to not have any kids.  We're dropping them off at their adoptive parents' home this afternoon.    :wagfinger:

I recently read a joke that went something like this.

"My wife and I told our kids they were adopted and the first thing they wanted to know was who were their birth parents."

I replied, "We're your birth parents. Your adopting parents will be here soon."

That's probably the joke that was rattling around in my head when I wrote my weak version of it.

Not to worry, people are dying at a very satisfying rate, and that rate is about to increase precipitously.   But don't worry, depopulation would never include you or your family.      :rofl2: :firedevil:
