Just starting listening to Avs v Canucks, hoping they had some good practices.  Last game against Vegas started out great with MacKinnon going coast to coast to score 25 seconds in the first but went downhill after that..so many good chances but their goalie was playing really great.

On another note, USA won the bronze in the Juniors tournament against Sweden.  Still stings they got bounced by Canada (two disallowed goals made a big difference).

The 2022-23 N.H.L. season is half into it, and the Toronto Maple Leafs were tied for second in the Eastern Conference, and second overall, in the N.H.L.  At the 2022-23 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship in Halifax, N.S., and Moncton, N.B., in the Semifinal, Canada beat U.S. 6-2.  For the Gold medal, Canada beat Czechia 3-2 in overtime, and for the Bronze medal, U.S. beat Sweden 8-7 in overtime.  At the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women's World Championship in Östersund, Sweden, in the Preliminary round, Canada beat U.S. 3-1.

Ok BlackhawkRush, are the Hawks going to beat the Avs tonight?  I am on the fence, with all the injuries Avs aren't playing like themselves lately and Chicago had a good win in OT against the Flames.  Guess we will have to see which teams show up on both sides...:hockey2:

You'll probably win just enough games to mess up your the draft odds!

Yeah, Bedard is already turning into another Crosby, if all of his close-ups during the Juniors tournament mean anything.  :coy:

Mrazek has had a good record against the Avs, it was his night.

Kraken make history by completing the seven road game sweep!

I remember the Hawks coming close to that achievement early in the 80s. I think they went 7 and 1.
