I remember reading Scar Tissue by Anthony Kiedis and the story about how he changed his mind from going to Sony to Warner happened after Mo congratulated them.

"The coolest, most real person we had met during all these negotiations had just personally called to encourage me to make a great record for a rival company which was the kind of guy I’d want to be working for."

RIP, Mo.  :rose:  He was a huge supporter of the Beach Boys and signed them to Reprise/Warner Brothers records in 1970 after Capitol said they were no longer interested in them.  He helped them record Sunflower , which was critically acclaimed.  A good guy!
