Well, there were only eight teams, couldn't compete in today's game, blah blah blah. Now I've only seen a few vids of NBA games from that era, but Russell was obviously a great athlete and a defensive and rebounding monster. When called upon, he could score around the basket as well and handed out a surprising 4+ assists per game. He might not play center in today's game but could damn sure play today.
