blueschica
Oh shoot! He was very good in a ton of movies. He was a great Gus Grissom in The Right Stuff. Loved him in Remo Williams and the Tremors movies. One time we watched Silkwood and the Right Stuff all in one night and joked that it was the Fred Ward film festival. RIP, Fred. You were always in interesting films.

Derek19
I'm sorry, to hear, see, and read this. He was in some great, and classic movies like "Escape From Alcatraz", "Silkwood", "the Right Stuff", "Secret Admirer", "the Player", "Bob Roberts", and "Thunderheart". He will be missed, and remembered. My condolences, and sympathies, to his family, and friends. R.I.P., Fred. Nova Carmina
Classic "that guy." I remember him, too, from Chain Reaction, an early Keanu Reeves vehicle that was obviously cast by the same people who did the The Fugitive. RIP; you always made the films richer. BastillePark
As I recall he was the guy in "The Right Stuff" that held that ball aloft the longest in the lung capacity test. But I could be wrong. He was great in "Tremors."
