Wife's Uncle kept shouting at holiday dinner last nite "if they don't like it they can get the hell out." I believe he was referring something relating to the new prez, tho I tried hiding myself in the football game on the tele.

 

After he repeated this statement a few times over the course of the evening, I decided to crank O Canada on my phone (somewhere Wife and I wouldn't mind visiting for the next four years or so) and sing along...really energized the in-law voting sentiment.

Almost lost my little girl today. Not one person stopped to help. A nice big fuckyou to everyone who passed by. Merryfuckingchristmas.

 

What exactly happened? Was it clear to passers by that someone was in danger or needed help?

She disappeared whilst I was picking up her poop and I just knew she dashed off to the river. She thinks that any water has biscuits in it. I was screaming her name and going back and forth the bank but also checking the tiny field everyone was walking through. I was hysterical and crying cause how do you lose a Dalmatian in a tiny fenced area? Did someone snatch her that fast?? (Dog theft is very high here). She is my everything and has helped me through all my trauma and she is like a daughter to me.

Finally saw her little face through a rhododendron bush. She was stuck half in and out the river clinging to the bank and shaking. Its cold! I don't know how I got down there with my mobility problems but I did and managed to boost her up onto land and then pull myself up too.

She stayed by my side all night but I think she was comforting me more than I her. Bless her!

Can't walk well at all today but I'm not complaining, I have my little girl ������

 

I'm glad you're both OK. Unless you asked for help I think most people are in their own little worlds and tune out what's going on around them.
