What pissed you off today? v.2

I don't get po'd very often....but my alarm clock really pissed me off this morning.

It screamed at me at 4:45. I did nothing to deserve that. Okay, maybe I pushed a few off her buttons last night.

I need a voice programmable alarm clock with a soothing wake up alert, like: "Good morning Mr. Sunshine, it's time to get up. It's going to be a beautiful day and your coffee is brewing. Up, up , up....".......instead of my current alarm clock that screams...

Eant! Eant! Eant!.....Eant! Eant! Eant!......Which I translate as: Get the hell up! 5 1/2 hours of sleep. Ha ha ha....Good luck with that. Ha ha ha ha ha ha

Lower back pain, have no idea why? Right at the sacrum. It's not awful - I haven't even taken anything for it yet, but I can't figure out why it's there. If I'm standing, it's fine. confused13.gif

You have any pain going down your leg?

None, and it's right over my sacrum. Getting better, though - I think it may be a combination of sleeping funny on it, a very long cardio workout on the bike yesterday, and getting dehydrated (to the point where my feet cramped up. I finally had to give up after an hour and a half of biking and drink some vinegar).

It definitely feels muscular. It's not awful -like I said, I haven't even taken any Aleve or anything. Just drinking water with some fruit juice mixed in.

In case you were wondering - vinegar works wonders on cramps, if you can stand to drink it. I happen to love the stuff, so I will regularly down a quick glug of it post-workout.

Vinegar??? I've never heard of anyone drinking it straight. Are we talking white vinegar? Balsamic? Maybe apple cider vinegar doesn't taste that bad.

Yep, plain white vinegar. I love the taste. My husband watches in disgust as I upend the bottle and slurp it right down. Cramp is gone in under two minutes, usually. (I do love balsamic as well, but it's a lot less pricey to drink the white). It's one of those "old home remedies" and it works for me. When I'm dehydrated, my feet are the first part to cramp - and I mean twisted, tied-up, mutilated-looking type of cramps. It starts to ease quickly with the vinegar.

Really? I get tummy cramps and, um, other not so wonderful things happen when I get dehydrated after long runs. I usually down 40/60 blend of Gatorade and water though. Most of the time it works.

Not sure I could drink vinegar straight though!

I have to agree here. I'll do massive amounts of Gatorade to rehydrate and do watered down while running or cycling because otherwise it's too heavy.

For me, when I'm dehydrated, my calves start to cramp and I know I'm in trouble if I don't do something about it soon. I recently had an issue with major dehydration and it was the absolute worst thing I've ever gone through...

Work. People not cooperating. Finding out I've been doing something quite important WRONG since starting in February. Gernally me not getting what's going on all of the sudden.

Waiting to hear back from my car inspection and with the way today is going, I am bracing myself to hear it needs some sort of repair or replacement.

Oh and I've got about 5 hours sleep in me total.

Kitty. After being at the vet's on kidney dialysis for seven days, we finally got the ok to bring him home. Great! Not so great... his days are numbered: two weeks to as long as four months. During this time I have to give him two liquid medications and one pill, daily. This is a nightmare for everyone. Then, I have to put fluids into him, daily, via a fat ass needle and one of those huge IV bags like you see in hospitals which I have to duct tape to the top of a counter so it sits high enough. I have to grab the scruff of his neck and jam this two, almost three inch needle into his neck and allow fluids to enter his system. Poor, poor kitty.

Something got all over my Michael Kors handbag and I don't know what it is. It's a leather bag, it was very very expensive and I have no clue what it could be.

I purchased it in Atlantic City when I was on vacation there so I ended up calling the store (5 hours from me!) to have them send me some special leather cleaner. UGH It better work, that's all I'm saying.

Really minor rant:  I can't kick worth a crap on the new Madden.  But I think I figured out this pseudo-psychological glitch.  biggrin.gif

The new Maddens out already? I didn't even realize that. laugh.gif

I forgot to take "first day of school" pictures of my boys this morning. sad.gif

Kerry is now in the 7th grade and is nearly as tall as me.

I went in to my classroom this morning to start setting up, and none of my supplies had been delivered. Not a pencil or a crayon! wacko.gif

The principal called the company, and the order is supposed to be here next week. Yeah, I've heard that before. I made a run to Target for a few things, like tape, so I can start putting stuff up on the walls.
