Sonatine
Have had a penchant to watch some old 1970s films from my youth. I remember "The French Connection" vividly because it was the first "X" rated film (now "18") I saw at the cinema at the tender age of 14! Despite being over 50 years old it still resonates as one of the best police thrillers I've seen in many-a-year. And as always Gene Hackman is a joy to watch, ably supported by the ever-dependable Roy Scheider.

Derek19
On Crave Movie channels, and at the movie theatre, I watched "the Northman", "Ambulance", "Downton Abbey: A New Era", "the Black Phone", and "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey". If anyone else has heard of, and seen the horror version of "the Banana Splits Movie", and didn't like it, then I wouldn't, and don't recommend "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey". Before I watched it, I knew it wasn't based on the kid's, and children's Winnie-the-Pooh. If you've seen the horror version of "the Banana Splits Movie", and enjoyed it, then you might like that, too. Three other movies I just watched are "Terrifier", "Terrifier 2", and "the Woman King". I'll definitely have to watch it.
