Bahamas
CBC television in Canada has had a long running series called Murdoch Mysteries, a campy lower budget mystery series set back in time during the 1890s to early 1900s.Based on the novels by Maureen Jennings, a series of murders in Toronto are investigated by a young detective William Murdoch. The next episode on Monday March 21 will include Geddy as a carriage driver. Should get lots of hits by searching Geddy Lee Murdoch...It's a small part of a subplot, but humour prevails. At one point the investigator asks the driver his name. "Sawyer. Tom Sawyer." So fun. I love that man :) Edited March 20, 2022 by Bahamas

Bahamas
I watched the episode. I didn't know the series was humorous, a bit silly, but Geddy's scenes fit right in. I got three references from his career, there might have been more? The name "Tom Sawyer".Suggesting a cabin not too far away "It's no Xanadu".And just after a baby is born in the show, he says "Celebrate the moment", a quote from One Little Victory, or perhaps just a coincidence. But, I wonder, given a chance to include Neil in the works of things, it was a pivotal time in the band and the title track of Vapor Trails did have those words in the title track. It was a celebration that Neil was back and ready to play. My thoughts.
