Edge of Excess is a kick ass album. Phil X is very solid on guitar and, I know people like to bitch about Gil Moore's vocals, but I think he's perfectly fine. Overall its a good album. It's just not Triumph. But I mean, it probably only has the Triumph name for marketing purposes. Should've been a Gil Moore album. As long as you ignore the fact it's a Triumph album, it's some nice heavy metal.
