I'm wondering if they push the milking a bit too far with this one.

So only the artwork is different? Looks cool and if I was looking to pick another DI I might get it.

Actually, there are a couple notable differences between the YYZ version, and the new MP40 edition: The added boost stomp switch, which adds 12db of presence boost, as well as a 'shape shifter' button, which can add another 6db ". . . of Schmegilka on top" [more boost].

Yeah okay. I see now. I wonder what the price will be.

MSRP is $385, but Sweetwater currently lists it at $269 for pre-order.

Too expensive when you consider what virtualization / plugins cost. That's an entire guitar and bass suite from some publishers.

 

I didn't see either pedal listed under reviews, I'd be curious to hear the results.
