Principled Man
After so many years of delays, our next generation of space telescopes has launched! After a flawless launch and separation sequence, the telescope is on its way to a Lagrange point behind the Earth and Moon, where it will look deep into the depths of space....far deeper than any previous telescope has done. Astronomers hope to see the formations of the earliest stars and galaxies, formed in the very young Universe, as well as study other planets in other star systems. In the coming weeks, the telescope will unfold itself and perform numerous self-tests as it positions itself at the Lagrange point. We will have to be patient to see the first images from this technological marvel. CAN'T WAIT!! https://www.nasa.gov...lescope-mission Edited December 25, 2021 by Principled Man
zepphead
If everything goes to plan this telescope should give us loads of new data previously unreachable. The Hubble has given us superb data so I hope the James Webb will give us even more!
Fordgalaxy
Who knew French Guiana had a place to launch rockets? (not me) Looking forward to whatever images this will provide.

We won't be staying at that point. It will be like constantly driving around the block..... :o

So yeah, constantly driving that hotrod around the block, looking for those nice girls. I wanted to get a reference to Space Trucking in there, and couldn't find a way. LOL. Something about riding that fireball and dancing around with Borealice.
