f**k iowa

Not a Hawkeye fan or are a Hoosier fan? Maybe both?

duke lol

Lost the last game of the regular season. Lost the ACC championship game and not likely to win the Big Dance so this will be considered a disappointing season for his last. Oh well.

It's going to be interesting to see how Duke recruiting will go and who's going to take the job now that Krzyzewski is retiring.

Hoosier fan

Jon Scheyer has already been named K's successor

St. Mary's has a legit shot at the Sweet 16 imo

Weak conference; they don't play anybody! :dweez:

(Kidding! Don't come at me, bro!)

LOL

They have 2 excellent guards and a good big and play tough defense and Randy Bennett is an extremely good coach. All are a recipe for success in the tournament. You never know of course but I see a Sweet 16 for them, definitely a round 1 win.

As for the conference, this year there were 5 good teams and 3 will make the tourney leaving BYU and Santa Clara out to the NIT. Portland and San Diego were pretty good too but the bottom 3 were abysmal.

Side note: Watch Portland. Their coach, Shantay Legans was at Eastern WA last year and almost beat Kansas in the first round and turned Portland from absolute and complete shit to a reasonably competitive team in one season. They're on the upswing.

Yeah, it should be easy to beat a team playing its fifth game in 8 days that has to fly 2500 miles the day before a game that will start at 9:00 Eastern.

f**k the committee

Here's the committee. Chris Reynolds is a former Hoosier during the Cheney years.

Currently, the chair of the committee is Bernard Muir, the director of athletics at Stanford.

Here are the rest of the committee members:

Tom Burnett, commissioner, Southland Conference

Janet Cone, director of athletics, University of North Carolina Asheville

Bernadette McGlade, commissioner, Atlantic 10 Conference

Jim Phillips, vice president for athletics and recreation, Northwestern University

Chris Reynolds, vice president for intercollegiate athletics, Bradley University

The Wisconsin Badgers will be the first #3 to lose. They are not playing well at all right now.

Well, they have Colgate and then either an LSU team that lost their (cheating) coach or a slumping ISU team that went 7-11 in conference, so they should survive the first weekend. So they'd have to play pretty poorly not to make it.

Michigan vs Colorado about to light this fuse. Yeehaw, let The Madness begin!

Colorado St, but the rest of the sentiment is solid.

Michigan was the easiest upset pick ever. They've been playing inspired ball ever since Coach threw The Slap. :laughing guy:

Yeah, Juwan's got those kids pumped. Whether or not he can sustain it is another story. Just off the top of my head I see Arizona cutting down the nets.

I hate Kentucky only slightly less than I hate Duke so no tears from me.

Is it too late to withdraw my picks and pretend they never happened?

Although the Kentucky loss hurts, my bracket is actually doing ok.

Nova had Kentucky winning it all.

Hey, it's early, so no worries. Down in the first half, 'Nova U made a great comeback to grab a solid halftime lead. It's a sign!

Stupid play by Manek.

It'll be something if the flagrant two turns things around.
