I think because in the UK it was first released as an EP, with only the first side of the LP version contained therein.

I had to go with eliminating Let It Be. A this point, these are all stunning records...but Let It Be is laboured in a way that none of the others are for me. I generally think about liking mid career Beatles the most, late career Beatles second and early third....but there is more life and vitality (and great little songs) on Hard Day's Night and Help then there are on Let It Be.

We don't quibble over what an album is that much, but it does seem like a lot of people want Magical Mystery Tour included. I know I love that album.

 

I understand arguments against, but this one would be a fair exception.
