It's a supergroup featuring Reb Beach (Whitesnake, Winger, Dokken), Jeff Pilson, Robin McAuley (MSG) and Matt Starr. Yeah they're pretty good, basically hard rock.

Rush- Counterparts

Every time I play this album, I feel it's an oddity. Yet, I enjoy all the songs, and even think it has a number of classic Rush moments.

Animate

Cut To The Chase

Nobody's Hero

Alien Shore

Double Agent

Cold Fire

Everyday Glory

These songs are exquisite! Overall though, I prefer Roll The Bones.

Journey-Raised on Radio (9/10)

Boston-Third Stage (8/10)

Mick

I listened to Third Stage for the first time recently. I did not expect it to be so good! Not perfect, but the production is incredible and the ambition is exciting.

I've always loved Third Stage. There's so many classic songs on that album. Boston's debut is perfect IMO, and Don't Look Back and Third Stage come darn close.

Third Stage......IMO.....is boston's FULL on AOR album.  Up until than it was Heard Rock with a very AOR type flavor.  This was just full on AOR.

And aside from a couple clunkers it's quite good, lol

Alan Parsons- From The New World

I buddy listened with Mick. Lovely album, I sense it will be a grower. Felt like a true Alan Parsons Project release.

Foreigner-Agent Provocateur (7/10)

This album for me ended Foreigner.  it's good but a poor man's 4.

Mick

I really love the next album! It might actually be my favourite.

I love all Foreigner have done tbh. They are not the most diverse band, but I can put any record on and love it.

Moving Pictures. I`ve got kinda stuck doing a large oil painting of the cover and hope listening to it a few times will help me to refocus.

Please post it when you’re done!

I like it a lot. It’s clear the band had swung towards full 80s cheese, and that is part of what would break them up later on, but the songs are still good to great and the production is good for what it is. I really love the opener, Tooth And Nail.
