It's come to my attention that one of these songs is better than the other, but which one do you prefer?

just one more time ... :musicnote:

I think the better of the two is Separate Ways but Don't Stop Believing holds many memories for me.

Separate ways. it rocks harder. love the riff, keys, vocals, everything.

Don't Stop is a great written pop tune but has forever been ruined by radio play and worse folks.......folks.......Kareoke. people sing this and i won't too spit in their mouths. Glee did it and they finished the song off. that's it.....it's dead, lol

for me Escape now starts with Stone in love.

Stone in Love probably would take the cake as my favorite Journey song, so I'm perfectly fine with this

Separate Ways, it's got the heavier, sharper riff, better guitar solo and the melodies are actually stronger.

Yes, I give Separate Ways the nod. Tough decision. Don't Stop is the better sing along song.

One of the rare pop bands from back in the day I enjoy more now than when they were at their peak (Fleetwood Mack being the other).

Both are strong songs from the band, but not their best.
