Lorraine
Since last night, my brain is going in 38 different directions at the same time.Up at 4:30.Feel unglued. Is there nothing to help me?Is chemo their only answer?Maybe when you do chemo, you're too sick to be aware of the colossal emotional changes a person goes through while awaiting the Big Day.Just how many Ativans am I supposed to take???? I'm starting to look sick too. Some kind soul is visiting this morning, along with my guardian angels, to cut my hair. I'm tempted to just shave the head. I hate it when old people try to keep the hairstyle they once had with only 12 strands of hair left. Men are notorious for that one. We know there's a bald spot under those four strands of hair. Sorry. Mean no offense to anyone. Here's hoping day improves. I'll have someone take more group shots. :codger:

I still have long hair, but suspect that at the rate it is headed I may be cutting it off in about 10 years. I take no offense to this comment; if you are a male (especially with long hair) trying to retain that glory, let it go. Rarely does a man look better if he keeps the hair rather than ditching it.

I have to sleep. My colon is so messed up that 10 stool softening pills (two of the ten are real potent stuff) aren't doing much. I have to go to bed. Someone took a picture of me with my husband today and said, "He looks like he's crying." And he was. No one tells you about any of this stuff in cancer books. The only thing anyone ever talks about endlessly is chemo. But this is the reality of it.

Lorraine
When I was walking through the store today, everyone always asks, "How ya doin' today?" So I decided to just say "Swell!" By the time I left the store, I was laughing because I actually felt better. :ebert:

Lorraine
If you are interested in knowing when I die, I need a couple of trusted members willing to pm me their cell numbers so my guardian angel can text them the details when day arrives. If not, those of you who know my name can google it and my obit will show up.
