I'm as surprised as you are. What probably would've been better would be DSOTM vs. CTTE and then have Thin Lizzy and Jethro Tull duke it out, but here we are. That's how the dice rolled!

This one'll be a blowout for sure, lol.

A nasty one as I really like both bands.

However in terms of bands, for me Floyd just has the upper edge.

As for the albums, DSOTM saw Floyd at the peak of their powers whereas Tull were still a band on the rise, so again Floyd win out.

The final poll will probably see Tull getting a drubbing which is unfortunate as they are a great band in their own right.

Fan of both albums and groups.

Over the years my ears have heard more Floyd than Tull.

I'm going with Floyd.

Whew, one that won't cause me to curse my keyboard.

Stand Up is a great Tull album, while DSOTM is a great album, full stop.

I've abstained from the band vote . . . probably Floyd, but only by a whisker.

I am the first vote for Jethro Tull in the band category and I have not say that I'm not particularly shocked by the fact.

I'll be honest, it was a bit of a dilemma for me, I couldn't find much between them.

Nothing's Easy would be my top track from both albums. But as a whole, Dark Side is pure brilliance beginning to end.

So, Ian Anderson is wrong. Some things ARE easy.
