Does weed ever lend itself to exercise?

nah, definitely not. potheads might argue otherwise since a lot of them are convinced it's an all-purpose miracle drug, i've met too many of those types. but that's how any addict copes.

the closest you'll see to that is with people who a smaller dose just to destress so they can work with a clearer mind. that's not something someone's going to do before hitting a gym i don't think, but i've seen it happen all the time in laborious jobs that guys can't stand to work otherwise. i also know a guy who says he needs frequent medication for his joint pain, so there's another 'close' instance i guess, not sure how valid of a solution that is though lol.

also know a 17 y/o who's been getting drunk just about every night since last december now. he's obviously put on weight because of it, but says he's gained muscle too and the the beer has helped with it. that's obviously not what's happened, but it's still nice for him that he was able to put on muscle in spite of having shitty diet/drinking which can only be working against him. i never drank as a teenager, but apparently a lot of teens are basically immune to hangovers at a young age as well (unless they enter blackout territory, i'm assuming)

my own vice lately has been too much caffeine consumption, and tapering off / withdrawls are going to be a complete and total bitch. for health reasons i should be moderating my caffeine consumption a lot more, because i'm going over 300-400mg per day of what's considered healthy for the average person, and i've been in this sort of habit for years now, really (on and off).

the three worst aspects of withdrawal, which lasts 2-9 days (usually takes a full 24 hours before the effects start really kicking in):

-The debilitating headaches

these happen because when you have much more than 200mg of caffeine (not sure about the time frame, but i'm assuming within a few hours) the amount of blood flow to your brain is significantly reduced, which sounds really harmful but apparently it isn't (i'd like to believe it is to help motivate me to quit though, lol). so once the caffeine is out of your system for a set amount of time your brains blood vessels expand and more blood rushes to your brain (the normal amount), which causes the killer headaches.

-Depression

honestly now that i know to expect it, it's not so bad. i can usually just rationalize it away by blaming the withdrawl and it works out okay. but when i'm still depressed after 20 days of having no caffeine, that sucks.

-Lack of motivation/ability

notable dip in quality of performance with anything and everything, sometimes to the point of "why bother?"

also often times the direct result of the headache and depression..

^ adults love to joke about being dependent on caffeine, but it's not funny. this sucks, it's an underrated epidemic

there are a lot of health and life benefits to (moderate) caffeination, but the dependency alone is concerning

Go drink a Celsius and be done with it.

There are far worse addictions. I think my doctor has me hooked on benzodiazepines, and I'm not the least bit concerned.

Which reminds me, it's time for my evening dose of Klonopin. I hope I don't end up like Jordan Peterson.

On a serious note, I've taken Klonopin in the past, maybe ten or twelve years ago, and when it was discontinued the dose was tapered over a period of about a month. I didn't notice any major withdrawal symptoms. Just a bit of insomnia and irritability.

Peterson must have been taking massive doses of Xanax (similar to Klonopin but short-acting), to wind up in some sketchy Russian rehab clinic.
