the stretch after football season before motorcycle riding season is the worst of the year for me except for the nights Gonzaga plays

I streamed some of the Olympics using the replay feature of nbcolympics.com, specifically curling, but aside from that there isn't much sports-wise that draws my attention.

An exception is the highlights of Steph Curry's 3-point shooting in the NBA All-Star game. Unreal!

Value of the home went up $275,000, YEAH!

Roger that, says the tax man.

:(

Your home going up in value is only a good thing if you’re planning to cash out the equity and move to tractor country

I'm thinking Atlantic coast sunrises in ten years, maybe a little less.

I need to figure out how to retire

I hope you do cuz it's pretty awesome. I slogged through 25 years of 2 jobs (same pension) I fukking hated to get to full pension. Was it worth it? Tough call. Feels that way now, didn't then.

properties around flathead lake montana go for much more than properties in lake tahoe, which i find absolutely incredible. most of the houses around flathead lake are literal mansions with private lake access though while most tahoe homes on the market are smaller and more inland.

i wonder how much this private island mansion would be worth now, sold for 14m (presumably) in 2018

researching cold climate gardening, and looking into montana fishing laws. kind of interested in hunting but not really, seems like more trouble than it's worth especially since i've never done it before. apparently a couple good buck kills can provide you with enough meat for a few months, but how good buck tastes i'm not sure.

at least you get guaranteed skiing/snowboarding, tahoe can't promise that each year. montana is also gorgeous year round while california is really only nice during late autumn through early spring honestly, the summers are nice if you live close to the coast and can surf or swim, but as far as other outdoors activities go it can get a little too hot, and all of the hills are dead and dried up as opposed to being an irish green
