Best--Jags (as long as you can keep the owner from meddling)

Worst--Lions (because they're the Lions)

Not the Jets for worst???

Nah, you get to play the 2020s Patriots twice a year so the lower bound for a record is 2-14.

The Lions are trying to hire some good people this time though...

They need to bring back Jim Bob Cooter.

Best - Chargers ......established QB who has nearly limitless potential and an ownership that won't meddle cuz they're starved to be relevant in LA (but for God's sake Dean, NOT Jason Garrett)

I would've said Jacksonville as the best but the owner said yesterday that he's "taking control of roster construction". ZERO chance that ends well as we saw with Jerruh in Dallas after Jimmuh left. Owners trying to be GMs NEVER works.

Worst - Lions.......cuz well, they're one of the 2 worst franchises in North American pro sports (looking at you Mariners  ) and until they prove they're not it's a bad destination

Next - no one the rest of this offseason

The Chargers request permission to talk to Jason Garrett.

Best -- Chargers, because they have several pieces they need and are well positioned to get better

Worst -- the Jags situation is dire, who know how well Lawrence will actually work out, and if he starts slow, you could easily be fired while the team is still trying to find its feet

Next -- the Broncos just hired a new GM-type, so that guy probably wants his own man on the sidelines

Only if that's what Elway wants. He may have "fallen up" but my guess is good 'ol Mr. Ed still makes most of the decisions.
