Listen you TRFers, you've lived for many years now, but after 2020 and Covid-19 who knows what disasters will befall us in 2021...so it's time to list

The Scorpions are another band I would have liked to have squeezed in there. If I do a top 60 they'll be in!

My missus is a big fan! We have seen them a bunch of times and they always sound heavier live than they do particularly on their later studio albums.

Their last few albums haven't been all that good.

Yeah ..... kinda rock by numbers stuff. But some of their older albums are great!

I like everything through the 80's. I think there might be one in the early 90's that was ok too.

Crazy World from 1990 is pretty good.

Yeah that's the one I mean. I have a bunch of those albums. I got the remasters from a few years ago as well, plus I already had the previous versions on CD. I've got Scorpions all over the place! I've not listened to them for a while though.

I remember seeing them in the Manchester Apollo in July 2007.

Michael Schenker's MSG was the support group. Should have been great ... but Schenker was blind drunk. Couldn't string two notes together ..... They were booed off mid set. So disappointing.

Scorpions however were superb. They played a slightly longer set to make up for the MSG fiasco. Uli Jon Roth was with them for part of the show. A super performance, and I met Uli Jon as well!! Memorable.

Schenker's been like that for a while now. It's probably why his career has been so mediocre since about 1983.

He seemed to be in a pretty bad way the whole of the 2007 tour. I think perhaps his lowest time. As one of my guitar heroes I really didn't want that to be our last memories of him

So when we heard he was on the bill at the High Voltage festival 2011 (which we had tickets for) I was kinda filled with a mixture of anticipation and dread!

Fortunately he seemed to have cleaned his life up and gave us a great set (albeit assisted by a host of guests inc. Rudy Schenker, Herman Rarebell, Pete Way, Doogie White and Jeff Scott Soto).

His playing was great that day, and that is the last time I have seen him live .... and it will probably remain that way as a fitting way for me to remember his talent.

Master of Puppets and Ride The Lightning are way up on my list of good albums. Like VH, they've got some awesome albums then there’s just absolute crap.

I've never been a fan to be honest and I bought Puppets way back in 1986. In those days their UK label was still Music For Nations.

I know it’s fun for some to constantly rip on Lars but I never cared about him or all of the drama surrounding Metallica. Outside of their music, there are few bands that I know a lot about (or even care to).

What parts of Thin Lizzy's catalogue don't you like? I've always thought they were a very consistent band.

Many of their albums had just one or two tracks that were good and when on a compilation album made the band’s legacy look incredible.

Jailbreak the only studio album that is truly consistently high quality.

When most people think of Lizzy they think of Live and Dangerous which is basically a “best of” album.
