From this, my second top favorite song behind "Xanadu" has been "Jacob's Ladder", only from this, second favorite has been "Natural Science", and for third, I'll give a mention to "Entre Nous (Between Us)". I have this both on original vinyl, album, and c.d. Edited by Derek19

Man I used to love me some Jacob's Ladder. I can still play every note of it.

Now it sounds sludgy and weird.

Ged evidently didn't want to resurrect it for R40, but Alex demanded it.

 

Different Strings is still beautiful, especially on nylon string classical guitar.

Favorite song from side 1 is Freewill and from side 2, favorite is Natural Science!

 

I have this on the 2015 reissue vinyl record, the 2020 40th Anniversary Super Deluxe Box Set which includes both the vinyl record and the CD. I also have this on a first original Canada pressing, and a early UK pressing vinyl record (release year unknown on discogs).

 

And on CD I have the 2011 version which is a part of the Sector box set.
