Rhyta
I thought about this after reading the Garden thread. I am amazed that it has already been 5 years since I saw Rush. It seems so bittersweet to remember them after losing Neil. We were so lucky SLC was on the tour but I would have gone to Denver or Las Vegas if I'd had to, I had a feeling that it was going to be their swan song. Lots of great memories, so glad I got to go with my sister to the Maverik Center in SLC . That was my 3rd show and we sat on Geddy's side of the stage. Took a picture of the screen with the R40 logo and have used it on my phone and other places. Just bought the Arf 40 t-shirt for my sister and the blue one for me from the Rush page. Here's good video a fan took at the concert.
zepphead
Sadly for me it was 22nd May 2013 in The Manchester Arena as part of the Clockwork Angels tour.Little did I know that when R40 was announced, it would never make it to this side of the pond.
Derek19
Since it's only been five years, it's hard to believe it's that many. When the R40: 40th Anniversary Tour was announced, for sure, didn't know if it would've been Rush's last one. I've been glad, and grateful they organized, and scheduled a Vancouver date, and I was able to buy a good seat to attend it. On some of Rush's other tours I wish I went to, made up for it. But I think they wanted to do a good job and both Neil and Alex had physical problems that made it unrealistic for them to do more and be satisfied with the result. Been trying to read Neil's last book since March, he details some of the reasoning for the limited tour in it. I think I may be able to try it again now, still will cry but want to read it.

So we say f**k Joe Billy! Joe Billy was such a wuss that he couldn't risk losing to the captain so his cronies and bro butted in. Caine was even ok with them squaring off one on one at the beginning. Then, when Caine had to step in to even the odds, Billy wussed out again and went for the captain's gun. He was even stupider by climbing up the wall instead of taking the damn stairs! So again I say "f**k Joe Billy!"
