JohnnyBlaze
There Will Be BloodI need to watch this. 3-time Academy Award winning Best Actor Daniel Day Lewis! He’s like the Neil Peart of actors, just an inhuman amount of talent and intensity in him. I’ve heard some TRFers say that they don’t check out movies based on who’s in it but rather, what the story’s about. They should make an exception in DDL’s case.

JohnnyBlaze
Tough call. I’ll go with these ten in no particular order: - Shawshank Redemption- This is Spinal Tap- Psycho- One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest- A Clockwork Orange- Full Metal Jacket- Slumdog Millionaire- The Princess Bride- The Shining- No Country For Old Men I might have to bump Slumdog Millionaire for Leon / The Professional. ALL 11 of these movies are perfect A+ movies imho

Segue Myles
I am surprised that nobody mentioned Twilight yet :laughing guy: I know a lot of people who love them. I love Harry Potter, and enjoy shows like Smallville and Lucifer. I won't begrudge anyone the enjoyment. Me? I've avoided the books and movies, never seen or read anything Twilight beyond the odd trailer.

JohnnyBlaze
I forgot Fargo, French Connection, Chinatown, and Witness. Fargo is special and deserves recognition despite not quite cracking my top 10. French Connection is Hackman at his best. He’s a total animal growling and all that when he’s at the wheel of his car in that chase
