RushFanForever
Check it out below. Dame Vera Lynn, beloved British singer, dead at 103 I don't know if members of this forum listen to this type of music, but this woman was a huge part of cultural influence and significance. A 2017 interview with Vera Lynn posted here. Vera Lynn would be mentioned in the Pink Floyd song "Vera" on The Wall album. “Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn? How she’d meet us again some sunny day.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCawgpFg_Bg Edited June 18, 2020 by RushFanForever
The Cat 3
Rest In Peace Dame Vera Lynn. By all accounts, she was a lovely person. Her voice helped soothe a nation. I purchased a compilation (as a result of the Pink Floyd connection) many years ago and instantly fell in love with that voice as well. It brought joy to my soul like a song bird singing in the quiet early morning hours. What a wonderful gift of song she gave to the world.
