JB!!! WHAT???? CAPS ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I NEVER KNEW THIS FOOTAGE EXISTED!!!!

I never knew that Neal shredded "Rock Candy" with Sammy!!! Holy Heartburn! LOL!!!

Dude!

EPIC!!!!

I was waiting for Ronnie Montrose and Dave Meniketti to come out on stage too!!! WOW!! Neal smokes!!!

See?

It's so funny buddy about my tastes in rock music.

Don't get me wrong. I own every Sammy Hagar alum. Every Journey record. Every Van Hagar album.

You know how I feel about a lot of that stuff. It sucks ass.

But give me nothing will ever touch the old stuff.

Give me every Journey album to "Raised."

Give me every every Van Hagar album to "5150." LOL

Give me every Sammy Hagar album to Geffen's "VOA" record!!!

God I love MONTROSE.

Even "Paper Money" is a gem.

YOU ROCK BUDDY!

So it's funny. Tonight I was telling Zoe that I can still get my cd fix from Japan thanks to DHL. Japan Post isn't shipping anything to the USA thanks to Covid.

But JB, I have my ways.

So after dinner I was telling Zo that I'm going to hire a film crew.

And I would like to hire you to be my guide and spokesman into the video camera..

It's just an idea and it would cost a fortune.

But let's just think about it.

When thinks get back to "normal."

I want to fly to Japan and do a Tower Records Rockumentary on all 85 locations there.

We could film hours and hours and hours of footage. Then trim it down to a 3 hours adventure in discovering every Tower location in Japan.

If that's too much ground to cover.

I would LOVE to film a documentary on many Japan Used and New Cd Stores.

I know it's still a big thing in Japan. There is a world cult following for rare Japan pressings.

I have the knowledge and the history to do this project.

I know North America doesn't give a shite about the compact disc anymore. But I know many people here who are just like me!!

Cds are still big everywhere but here.

f**k it.

It's just an idea.

But I think it would be killer do film something about Japanese cds and of course Japanese vinyl pressings.

The artwork. The bonus tracks. The rare pressings of albums you can't find anywhere else in the world.

I guess I should patent this idea, then again most humans don't give a shite about cds.

The film will be called....

"Earl's World: Tower Records Run In Japan!"

Well that's not so good, but you get the drift.

I can't believe I wrote a typo last night after I said I was a drunk. "I know everyone thinks"

I was in a RUSH while writing last night. Zoe was ready to watch the flick.

Harrison Ford was great in "The Call Of The Wild." The movie is INCREDiBLE!!!! You must watch it JB!

As an English Major I loved reading Jack London.

I thought of his book "White Fang" last night during the film.

Do you know that Jack London was born on the corner of 3rd Street in San Francisco?

We have Jack London Square in Oakland.

Jack's log cabin is actually near the bay in Oakland. Reminds me of the cabin in "The Call Of The Wild" actually!!!!

Cheers!!

You better hurry up because it appears to me that the number of record shops is diminishing. Don't get me wrong though - there are still tons. I'll say this about the Tower Records here - most of them are shit and some of them seem to cater to just J-pop and K-pop crap. Can't find ANY Rush in some of them. That's a messed up idea. I think it'd be more interesting if you went in various kinds of record shops PLUS some Tower Records shops (the better ones)

Also, filming in shops here could be a problem in some of them. Many of them have signs not allowing it...though that basically just means they'd be annoyed and tell you to stop. It's not like they'd put you in the slammer. Still, I wouldn't do it if you didn't get permission first...which they likely wouldn't allow immediately (if ever). Clandestinely maybe? Or just go in and do it then split asap?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

You are breaking my heart JB.

Are you serious??? FFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This makes me very sad.

I would never invest money then or try and record something fantastic if those Tower Stores are all about that shite. DAMN!

Ok.

So there is hope, but it seems COVID is also killing my idea.

I can't change the hands of time dude.

I was thinking about this project a four years from now when I will have the time to think about it.

I would love to then just focus on all the Japan Record Shops.

Would love to explore with the owner's permission and get an interview. You could be my interpreter.

I would put you on payroll of course.

Just brainstorming.

Perhaps after Covid my Japan Shopumentary could help save record and cd stores there!!!!

A two hour film based on only exploring these shops.

We could have a ball! Talking about RUSH, METAL, eating sushi. Getting drunk and telling jokes and stories.

With bonus behind the scenes. Bloopers, bonus material.

I could imagine walking into a Japan Used Record Store. "HOLY SHIT JB! THERE IS A MINT COPY WITH OBI OF KLERK KANT ON VINYL!!!!!" LOL!!!!!

I really like this idea. I can't believe it's on a public forum. LOL!

Oh, and this film wouldn't be about making money. Fukk that.

I want to have some fun. Live life and save Japan Cd Stores.

So JB, I will stop typing about it, but I know soooooooo many store owners in Japan.

I know people all over the world dude.

Everyone is so nice and wonderful.

I'm actually very excited about this idea.

I hope one day it will become true.

Thank you buddy for your posts! I believe as I type to you right now that if with an interpreter, I would always ask for permission first.

My goal is not greed or to destroy fair business.

I would come in good faith to help save these shops and support compact discs and rare vinyls.

If I get kicked out, I move and hope for the next one.

Again, I am very connected within the Japanese Cd Market.

I will remain positive.

I think I can do this within time.

A crazy American Dude who has been obsessed with Japanese cds, vinyls and BURRN! magazine since 1985 is going to save the shops.

HAHA!

PRINT IT!!!

I hope humans on here think I'm insane.

I'm a businessman like my dad. He's amazing!!!!

I saw a guy the other day who looked just like Neil... Freaked me out.

Hey Snow Dog! Glad you are on this forum.

I love your avatar.

So confession...

I have my California black and yellow retro plate. It's N PEART.

I've had this plate for almost four years. It was on my Audi A3.

My point is I got this plate many years before Neil passed.

People on here may think I'm crazy but I don't care my friend.

I've gone through Hell on here but thinks have been so much better over the years.

I've earned my freedom of speech on here. It took 14 years! LOL!

Anyway, I was driving to work a few years ago in my little silver A3 with my N PEART plate on.

Just driving down Treat Blvd to work.

Some dude sped up to me honking.

He rolled down his window. I rolled down mine.

He yelled..... "HEY I LOVE YOUR PLATE! ARE REALLY NEIL PEART YOU LOOK LIKE HIM??"

I yelled back.... "NO I'M NOT NEIL BUT HE RULES!!!!!" "I LOVE HIM!"

The stranger yelled back.... "AWESOME DUDE RUSH ON!"

I've had people honk at me.

Give me devil horns on freeways.

So recently I put my N PEART plates on my new Audi.

I left my car overnight at my brother's house after a social distancing grad party. I drank many beers and I NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE!!!

So my mom and dad drove me home. I have the best mom and dad on the planet.

Anyway, I get home with Zoe my oldest daughter.

Someone walking in the neighborhood took a picture of my N PEART plate and put it on her Facebook account.

The stranger said...... "Wow! What an incredible homage."

I am not on any social media except this joint and stupid eHarmony. I am stupid cupid.

Oh well.

Incredible.

People think I look like Neil!!! CRAZY!

When I was young in 1987.

I looked just like Neil in the "Time Stand Still" video. I used to wear a black tank top too.

Don't judge me.

I am a lucky fuccker.

Goodnight.

Earl, I didn’t know where to put this but do yourself a favor and watch this as I bet you’d find it interesting. The guest on there is a sleep expert and he covers dreams, sleep paralysis, and such. I remember you were talking about one of your dreams a few weeks ago but I don’t remember the thread. Anyway, make the time to check it out. Watch it in multiple segments if necessary.

http://youtu.be/pwaWilO_Pig

JB!

This is incredible! I will have to find more time to watch the whole thing.

It's interesting about the hotel room sleep where half of your brain doesn't go into deep sleep.

I am a weirdo dude. As you already know.

When I travel, I bring along a black fan. I love the white noise factor either in my bedroom or on the road.

Also I put a pillow over my head and cave into the bed. I sleep like a rock on the road. I still have intense lucid dreams no matter where I sleep on the planet.............

When you watch this you'll find that what's happening in specifically your dreams and how you're sleeping aren't too unusual. It's been a while since I've watch this whole podcast so I'm going to give it another go myself.

Yeah buddy, I totally get it.

My mind is like a pinball machine shot full of white lightning every night.

So, I know this is a public forum, but hey, I've been here to long to care.

I am sure most Rush Forum Members have me on IGNORE anyway!!! HAHAHAHA!!!

So what sucks JB, is that I dream about my ex wife all the time.

Not every night, but for sure a few times a week.

Very intense. Very positive and very amazingly erotic still.

I guess my subconscious won't let the great memories go.

It drives me wild dude.

But I did spend 21 years of my life with her. 18 years were great.

Ugh!!!! Don't worry. I love Wendy but I would NEVER in a million years get back with her.

Tonight we had a small gathering of 6 people for Zoe's college graduation this weekend.

It was just

Me, Zoe, Skylar and Wendy. Then my mom and dad showed up!!!! Wearing masks of course and keeping six feet apart.

But it was SOOOOO COOL!!! My dad is like Howie Mandel on steroids! LOL! So I was so impressed they both came over!!!

So the four of us had take out. A cake.

Yes, I leased a new Toyota Corolla for Zoe. My graduation gift to her. She needed a car dude. It was time.

Zoe is the only 4.0 student athlete in her college. Monterey Bay.

Very proud.

She is going to grad school to get her doctorate.

Beyond proud.

So it was a quick and fun night.

I was surprised and I know it means nothing.

Wendy gave me a big hug goodbye.

I could feel the "Chemistry" go through my soul.

But then I had to quickly shake it off.

I am a nostalgic lucid dreamer.

That means I'm fukked huh JB.

A hopeless romantic who yearns for the past moments of greatness.

I've dated a lot of women over the last five years.

No one so far comes close to my ex.

It's life buddy.

I have no regrets.

I'm sad as I type this. But I'm good.

Love you.

So I wasn't going to write this on here because even I couldn't believe what I saw.

So just to let you know I have had some minor "ghost" activity in my house.

Mostly many many years ago when I was married to Wendy.

She saw a lot of weird stuff in this house.

I think I even wrote about it on here many many years ago.

But regardless and I have never seen anything strange here in my house ever.

Well until two nights ago.

This is very strange and I do have an open mind, but I am still very skeptical about spirits and ghosts in a house.

Although I do adore "Poltergeist." LOL

So hopefully some of you who read this who don't believe in shit can tell me what I saw was totally fake and complete fraud.

So here we go...

So before I was a drummer my mom forced me to take piano.

I hated it. I couldn't read sheet music. I still can't today, that's probably why I thrived on the drum kit.

Grip it, rip it and go baby.

But a few weeks ago my daughter Zoe's boyfriend brought me over a seriously sick amazing Yamaha keyboard.

I gave him 100 bucks for it.

It's on my dining room table in my living room area.

I've been playing on this thing every night for a week.

I can play "Jump" by Van Halen. I can play "Halloween" by John Carpenter. LOL!

But two nights ago I but on "Grace Under Pressure Live" and I played some keyboard parts to the concert video.

I think I actually made a thread about the GUP LIVE video about Neil playing with his 747s turned around.

So anyway I was playing some keyboard part to "Red Sector A.

Above my dining room table I have a three light modern chandelier. Two lights are lit and the third light has been out for months.

So here is the weird part.

As I was playing my keyboard along to Red Sector A, the third light bulb started to GLOW!!!!!!!!

You must believe me.

I was tripping out. That light bulb burned out months ago and I just never replaced it yet.

But it started to glow and matched the other two bulbs!!

Now stupidly I was like blown away.

I should have taken a picture.

But instead I tapped the light cover of the lit bulb because I couldn't believe me eyes.

Of course when I tapped on the glass hood the bulb when out.

I unscrewed the bulb instantly that was out and I shook it.

The filament inside of the bulb was loose.

So here is the kicker.

Before this bulb lit up I took the bulb out a few weeks ago and shook it.

The filament was broken even then.

So how could this bulb start glowing while I was playing keyboards to GUP LIVE?

WTF???????

Am I crazy?

Maybe.

I'm just being very honest..................................

The three lights above my table were lit up again.

Goodnight.

haha that's awesome man!
