I've seen both of these songs performed live. Phantom is the better song there as well. The main riff to Victim is a real rocker live. But the gallop during the "keep your distance, walk away, don't take his bait" part of Phantom is just phenomenal live. Also, when I saw Maiden play it, I was right in front of the stage. So, I got to experience the full force of 15,000 people singing the song behind me.

Maiden.

Victim is nothing but lies. Halford is gay but he's singing about a woman lol.

Did you know that is not true at all. Unless Al Atkins is also a homosexual.

"Victim Of Changes" is actually based lyrically on two songs.

The first song is called "Whiskey Woman" lyrics by Al Atkins.

the second song is called "Red Light Lady" by Rob Halford.

Do lesbians write about heterosexual relationships with men?

Bernie Taupin wrote about love songs about women but Elton John who is a homosexual sang the lyrics. Makes no difference to me man. Music is music. Who gives a fuckk.

There is no possible poll where priest ever comes out ahead of maiden in any category whatsoever. I have spoken

Well my friend. I just tied up Priest in the studio song poll!

Give me "KILLERS" anyday over Maiden's masterpiece debut. I have spoken. LOL!

I too have seen both songs performed many times in my life.

The last time I saw Priest do "Victim" was at The Warfield in SF. Halford hit every note that night. I was in tears.

I've never teared up over a live Maiden song.

"Victim" blows "Phantom" away.

For the studio version, and because Rob Halford is the lead singer, I would pick by voting for "Victim of Changes". For the live versions of "Victim of Changes", and "Phantom of the Opera", and with Bruce Dickinson as the lead singer on Iron Maiden's Live After Death, I'm not able to pick by voting. I've still liked both bands, and groups the same.
