blueschica
And this was in another thread I posted, but might as well put them all in one place. There is an event being planned in Toronto in May, exact dates still to be announced. https://ae1f1531.sib...k2ByHICmTlrESWl
Laurabw
So after having read the latest statement about them reaching out to artists of high caliber or something or other, I wonder about this, I mean how "big" can these artists be, that they'd play there? blueschica
So after having read the latest statement about them reaching out to artists of high caliber or something or other, I wonder about this, I mean how "big" can these artists be, that they'd play there? I saw that article; I should try and put it up here. Maybe the organizers are hoping they can get someone like Taylor Hawkins or Dave Grohl since they are big Rush fans? I hope they announce the date soon. There is like only one weekend I could go and I bet it's not then! It should be nice for whoever attends, though. It sounds kind of silly but when Davy Jones of the Monkees passed away, there was a memorial event and concert at a fairgrounds near here. (Jones had owned a farm in the area where he spent his later years.) I think the town put it together because they were getting all these phone calls of people wanting to come and there's not even a hotel nearby. They announced it and said people could camp and people came from all over the country and overseas to this little fairgrounds. I think the power of sharing with other fans is a big thing.
