High winds and furious fires are blazing everywhere here in the North Bay.

 

Sonoma County evacuated.

A fire in Crokett again.

A fire in Lafayette. Evacuation commencing.

A new fire in Martinez is now blazing out of control.

A new fire just broke out down the street from my house.

It is hard to breath. The sky is on fire.

It feels like the End Of Days are here.

My apartment was totaled but the roof went up in smoke. All my shit was covered in water and smoke damage.

I probably would have died in my sleep if I was there.

Luckily I was dating Wendy at the time and I decided to take her down to San Diego for a long weekend.

 

Glad I wasn't there when the fire broke out.

 

Still it was a mess.

 

Last year a big fire started across the street from my neighborhood. Last summer.

I was at work. It was a the beginning of the Fourth Of July getaway.

 

The freeways were jammed.

I couldn't get home.

 

The ex wife had to drive over to my house and save Earl the pug.

 

If that fire had jumped the main road it would have been an inferno.

Luckily the amazing firefighters put it out and saved every home.

 

I delivered a 200 bottle of champagne to the firehouse across the street.

Times have changed.

They can't take booze as a gift.

 

The firefighters told me to go home and enjoy it and be happy everyone is safe.

 

Just incredible.

I honestly don't know how people live knowing at any time their house could burn down or the region could drop off into the ocean with the next big earthquake. Crazy.

Brentwood Los Angeles is being threatened by fire right now. Guess who is probably dealing with the possibility of being forced out of his house. This is terrible.

 

I skimmed this discussion due to the rampant CA hating. I'll get back to discussion and defending CA but right now TRF people need to check on their friends and family in LA.

When I was in LA for my two TOOL concerts it was a heatwave down there too. San Pedro was on fire when I was there.

 

It's just crazy about this entire state. NorCal and SoCal in flames every year now.

 

It's scary.

 

I get it about the California Hate, but man like I just typed I've lived here my entire life and I love it here.

 

However, these wild fires, earthquakes and high winds are nuts.

 

I can't stand the "Global Warming" bullshit but "Climate Change?" Yes I get it.

 

I read that our oceans are going to rise in 2050.

 

So San Francisco will be underwater by then and I will have ocean front property. By then I will be living in Maui..........

I sound like a broken record yet again, but yes! I was so lucky living here in Walnut Creek when I was a young lad.

Before fuckking cell phones and the internet.

There were never PG&E problems back then. Perhaps brown outs in the summer but never blackouts caused by a corrupt corporation!!

 

Back when I was in junior high Walnut Creek had 6 record stores!

Now there are none.

 

Just filled with a bunch of yuppie stores for all the fake rich to shop in and dine in.

 

I walk the streets of my city today and it makes me sick. I feel like I live in Beverly Hills 2.0 today.

Pat I told you my story when I saw Al Di at the Palace Of Fine Arts in SF right?

 

He did a meet and greet after the gig and I was first in line with the ex.

 

I had a glossy photo of him with his rainbowish guitar for his to sign. he signed his elbow on the picture. It's actually on my wall in my living room still.

 

I walked up to Al. I shook his hand and I told him......... "Al! You have blown my mind tonight! You give Alex Lifeson a run for his money." Al looked at me and said........."Wow! This meet and greet is really off to a great start!"

I bet he was thinking :"Alex Lifeson??? ALEX LIFESON???? I f***ing OWN that fat fool Lifeson! He's not even in my league!! Who is this clown who DARES even mention his name in my presence???!!"

 

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Pat you should have seen his face light up though! He seemed flattered to me to be compared to Alex. I actually made a wrong quote last night. I told Al Di right to his face that he blows Alex Lifeson away on the guitar. Then his face lit up like a Christmas Tree in Times Square. There's the truth. I didn't want a bunch of Rush Fanboi Fruits to start an argument on here.

High winds and furious fires are blazing everywhere here in the North Bay.

 

Sonoma County evacuated.

A fire in Crokett again.

A fire in Lafayette. Evacuation commencing.

A new fire in Martinez is now blazing out of control.

A new fire just broke out down the street from my house.

It is hard to breath. The sky is on fire.

It feels like the End Of Days are here.

Blackouts are happening here in the Bay Area as I type.

I can't believe I'm not in the dark yet.

Traffic lights near me are out.

Restaurants, and drug stores down the street are closed with no power.

 

It's total chaos.

 

At my Safeway which had power the lines were down the aisles.

 

The sky was dark, with a glowing orange hue of the apocalypse.

My eyes are burning still.

My house smells like a rotting cigarette in the ashtray of shite. I HATE SMOKE!

 

It's life! I've been through a fire before back in the 90's. Some little kid left the in wall heater on in the early morning and the apartment next to mine went up in flames.

My apartment was totaled but the roof went up in smoke. All my shit was covered in water and smoke damage.

I probably would have died in my sleep if I was there.

Luckily I was dating Wendy at the time and I decided to take her down to San Diego for a long weekend.

 

Glad I wasn't there when the fire broke out.

 

Still it was a mess.

 

Last year a big fire started across the street from my neighborhood. Last summer.

I was at work. It was a the beginning of the Fourth Of July getaway.

 

The freeways were jammed.

I couldn't get home.

 

The ex wife had to drive over to my house and save Earl the pug.

 

If that fire had jumped the main road it would have been an inferno.

Luckily the amazing firefighters put it out and saved every home.

 

I delivered a 200 bottle of champagne to the firehouse across the street.

Times have changed.

They can't take booze as a gift.

 

The firefighters told me to go home and enjoy it and be happy everyone is safe.

 

Just incredible.

 

So I have a history of fire in my life.

 

I'm very nervous.

 

But one day at a time.
