Rutlefan Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 (edited) Probably been done before but I couldn't find it so I'll start. I think I remember a thread about favorite guitar solos but I mean this to be about those legendary solos that can make a claim to be GOAT, or at least be in the conversation. 1. Brighton Rock - Queen Since I've been in a Queen mood of late. May would play this solo in concerts throughout their career, long after they stopped playing Brighton Rock (or so I understand). There are greater solos for sure, even better May solos, but I thought this would kick off the list nicely. Edited August 23, 2019 by Rutlefan 3
Blue J Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 (edited) 1. Queen- Brighton Rock2. The Allman Brothers Band- One Way Out (from At Fillmore East) Duane Allman and Dickey Betts both deserve it for this song- one, then the other, then intertwined together...it’s just divine. Entre_Perpetuo Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Bohemian Rhapsody Brighton Rock is epic, but Bo-Rhap's solo is astoundingly perfect.
